Business? Publication Owner? Writer? What’s the difference?
When you’re a publication owner, you probably started out as a writer as well. And in my time as a business owner, I’ve come to know my own purpose. In fact, I’ve been thinking a lot about purpose recently. With Paws for Giving where I create custom pet portraits, my purpose there is clear — donate 50% profits to animal rescues with a goal of donating $100,000 by 2025.
But when it comes to writers, and by extension publication owners, we can forget that we are our own businesses too.
Why is purpose so important to writers and publication owners?
Well, purpose is essential for your readers to connect with you.
